“YAMAMOTO” japan is a professional diving material brand in world’s diving market with a 54-year manufacturing history in Japan. The world’s top freedivers and triathletes use YAMAMOTO materials who make Thermal protection suits.

Yamamoto neoprene is extracted from limestone containing 99.7% carbonate. With high-tech material technology, the Yamamoto neoprene is rich in 93% of honeycomb closed cells. The cells contain a large amount of nitrogen to form super strong Thermal performance.

The world acknowledges that YAMAMOTO neoprene has excellent environmental protection, warmth, high elasticity and comfort. According to the test of the world’s authoritative organisations, the warmth of YAMAMOTO neoprene is nearly 40% higher than other general diving materials.

Bestdive has obtained the exclusive authorisation of Japan YAMAMOTO in China, and the BESTDIVE full range of diving suits are made using YAMAMOTO professional diving materials.

ABOUT YAMAMOTO MATERIAL

The technical content of the cold-proof wetsuit mainly comes from the materials used, and when it comes to materials, one Japanese company has to be noted “Yamamoto”. Almost all the world’s top diving brands have selected YAMAMOTO’s neoprene rubber as the material for the production of wetsuits.

With a series of movements about 800 million years ago. A piece of rock originally located in present Hawaii to make a long trek to the Kurohime Mountain Japan. YAMAMOTO discovered the value of this magical rocks first. The magic is that it has almost no impurities, it is made up of 99.7% calcium and carbonate. Using this rock as the initial material, Yamamoto have developed many high-quality materials used in outdoor sports, medical, fashion and other fields.

Yamamoto’s first production of a wetsuit was in 1961. The diving suit at that time was made of rubber from a tire. This rubber was very stiff, limiting people’s movement under water, and it was also very difficult to put on and take off. To solve this problem, Yamamoto developed a unique rubber material.

Through continuous efforts, they have developed a material with closed cells and an ideal lining. This new product was immediately appreciated all over the world, and many of the top brand diving suits use Yamamoto material. The closed-structure rubber foam produced by Yamamoto is 100% CR, which is the NEOPRENE material most are talking about. Traditional rubber is extracted from petroleum, and our Yamamoto biorubber is extracted from limestone containing 99.7% of calcium and carbonate. Compared with the rubber materials extracted from petroleum by other manufacturers, the rubber materials produced by Yamamoto company are more environmentally friendly.

Meanwhile, the reason why Yamamoto rubber is multi-function, high-quality, warmer and unique not only because the raw materials, but also because they have adopted a critical technical means to make the rubber material exhibits a closure of independent cell structure. The YAMAMOTO neoprene can be rich in closed cells of up to 93%, which is 22-23% higher than other competitors’ products with only 60% -70% of closed cells. The difference in this data has a very different meaning for consumer warmth.

Each closed cell individual does not absorb water, and the inside of their cells is filled with nitrogen, which ensures that this rubber material has good thermal insulation properties. Due to the unique properties of this rubber material and the fact that it does not absorb water, wetsuits made from this material will not penetrate due to moisture and will not make the clothes heavier due to submersion.

Triathlon suits, freediving wetsuits, swimwear, etc. produced by Yamamoto have all played an outstanding role in international competitions. In many international competitions, many top athletes choose Yamamoto products to challenge the new world record.
