Advanced Silicone Skirt

 

• Mantis LVR’s skirt form factor is slightly reduced in overall size compared to Mantis LV (similar to the size scale-down from Vader to Vader fanette).
• Lens is the same size as Mantis LV

 

• Compared to other mask skirts, LVR’s skirt trim is augmented avoid the hairline near the temples for a secure, unhindered seal. (LVR exclusive)

 

 

• The construction of the nose pocket and surrounding area is altered making it much easier to pinch the nose when wearing the mask. The range of angles is which fingers can be inserted at the sides of the nose for pinching is drastically increased resulting in a relaxed equalizing experience. Helps when using thicker gloves. Easy to pinch even the very back of the nose. (LVR exclusive)

 

 

• The face tends to crease around the nose and mouth area (laugh lines) when clenching a snorkel or regulator by the mouth. The skirt is specially engineered to compensate for the three dimensional surface of the face around these laugh lines for a more secure seal (LVR exclusive)

 

 

• The lips and cheeks tend to raise when clenching a regulator with the mouth. A reinforced pressure damper for the mouth and cheeks is added to keep the edges of the skirt on the face even and follow the face even when large facial muscle movements occur.  (LVR exclusive)

• UV420 Cut Protection
  • The UV420 CUT lens is able to block harmful HEV (high-energy visible light in the 400 to 420 nm spectrum) which causes oxidative stress and deterioration of lutein in your eye. Lutein is said to act as natural sunglasses. It is present as a pigment in the retina, a crucial part of the eye that receives light and allows you to see. The UV420 lens prevents cumulative macular degeneration by blocking harmful light and has an anti-oxidant effect. Lutein is destroyed when it absorbs harmful light. Its presence in the retina is limited and, because the body cannot make lutein, it can only be replaced by eating lutein-rich food.
